Real Estate Management - 6 Month Placement (March 2020)

Our Real Estate Management department in MINI Plant Oxford are looking for a 6 Month placement student to join the team starting March 2020. This will be a project management support role, delivering small major construction projects for the EMEA Region. The project managers are accountable for the success of a project. Typical responsibilities of a project manager include: Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects. As well as defining the project, building its comprehensive work plan, and managing to the budget.
What awaits you?
• Support of the project start phase.
• Support our project managers in coordination and steering of external consultants and contractors (e.g. reviewing schedules, cost estimates.
• Support communication with external consultants about developing or reviewing project schedules and time & cost estimating.
• Taking on sub-projects and working on it under your own responsibility, supported by the project manager.
• Working together with our project managers to set up scope of services, supporting meetings with the internal client (user of the building).
• Support the quality steering function creating monthly project reports.
• Identify innovations that will benefit the organisation.
• Ability to challenge ideas with fresh thinking.
• Excellent skills in MS Office.
• Driving license preferred.
• Interest in project management and construction innovations.
• Experience in digitalisation in Construction Industry/BIM would be beneficial but not essential.
