What you will be doing:

 

• Receive goods, distribute and / or store these as per Hotel internal procedures and with proper documentation
• Mark all received items with the current date and stocks accordingly and examine both quality and quantity of goods received
• Keep supervisor/Manager informed of current stock levels
• Rotate items when stocking following ‘first in, first out’ standards.
• Maintain quality control by notifying the supervisor and keeping a log of all expired or unacceptable product
• Fill daily requisitions of food, non-food, and beverage products
• Ensure that goods are promptly move to store or concerned department
• Assist in departmental inventory of all stocked items in the storeroom
• Ensure HACCP standards are maintained
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient stocking and picking of all items stored in the storeroom including sweeping and mopping

 

Your experience and skills include:

 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
• Must be fluent and literate in English
