Job Description

BCG Digital Ventures invents, builds, scales and invests in ventures with the world's most influential companies. As Recruiting Intern you will gain first-hand exposure to the recruiting industry, best practices and the digital talent market, whilst working within our unique landscape of startup-building and corporate venturing. This role is embedded in our Talent Architecture team which identifies and hires top talent for the startups we build.

What you will do:

  • Guided by our Senior & Lead Talent Architects, you will assist with attracting, engaging and recruiting some of the most in-demand tech talent across our industry
  • After familiarising yourself with our ventures and their requirements, you will leverage your strong research skills to identify target companies and conduct market-mapping
  • You will use both internal and external tools (e.g. LinkedIn and Beamery) to effectively build shortlists and candidate pools of high-performing executive and technical profiles, researching both active and passive candidates
  • You will work closely with a Sr Talent Architect on a live venture to experience how companies are built from the ground up
  • You will continuously build pipelines of interesting and engaged candidates who are relevant for our ventures and introduce our brand to prospective talent
  • Furthermore, you may support with other ad-hoc duties for the wider team, including data cleansing/maintenance, scheduling interviews, and general project work

What we look for:

  • Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Capacity to work full-time for 6 months, starting in early 2020
  • Proficient written and spoken English language skills
  • Experienced with Excel and Powerpoint 
  • Detail-oriented and show determination and grit under pressing deadlines and in the face of adversity
  • You have strong research skills and analytical abilities
  • Previous experience from related internships or working student jobs is a benefit
  • Displaying a strong interest in one or more of the following: recruiting, employer branding, sales or other research driven fields
