We are a Hong Kong based plastic recycling plant that is seeking a qualified applicant to supervise our size reduction and float sink separation lines. Our size reduction line consists of plastic shredding, metal separation, grinding, and elutriation. Our float sink line consists of density based separation tanks and drying. The successful candidate should have a minimum BSc Degree in Engineering (or other relevant technical degree) or strong experience in a manufacturing environment. Compensation will be commensurate with experience level. This position is based in Hong Kong and is to be filled as soon as possible. Applicant must be fluent in both Chinese and English. 

The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

• Knowledge of plastic recycling processes and machinery would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, pro-active with “hands-on” approach.
• A strong level of mechanical and electrical aptitude is needed.
• Computer literacy essential with the minimum ability to use Microsoft Office Software.
• Team Player.

Duties:

•          Supervise 1^st shift size reduction and float sink separation lines and ensure productivity targets are met.
•          Maintain factory organization and safety practices.
•          Help coordinate incoming and outgoing material shipments.
•          Monitor machine performance and operating conditions.
•          Keep records of the recycling process such as processing time, weight of material processed,  

type of material processed, etc. 

•          Check machinery for wear. Coordinate and perform necessary maintenance.
•          Supervise and delegate work instructions.
•          Understand the entire recycling process and suggest areas for improvement.
•          Be motivated and a self-starter. Be able to do what’s necessary to get the job done without waiting on orders.
