Role Description:
The Host Organisation Team Associate is a dynamic and entrepreneurial role that will be accountable for the execution of new business acquisition in the APAC region. The role will be accountable for developing & executing our global business development strategy across the APAC region and will work across email, phone, Linkedin and networking initiatives to drive an enhanced acquisition process. This role will be instrumental in opening up exciting new opportunities for our interns in the APAC region, using intelligent comms and automation to approach companies and secure new partnerships before handing over to our local placement teams. The HOT Associate will support regional placement teams to focus on BD and placement for specific participants, university cohorts and difficult individual placement processes. The HOT Associate will work closely with all of our specialist global teams, aligning strategy and helping to pitch opportunities to university partners, NGOs, and governments to drive growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about international education and is confident in growing a new sales function regional to help TIG achieve our long term growth strategy.
Office Location: Hong Kong (Taikoo)
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Execution of regional business development and all initial communication and sales with prospective partners
- Close communication and strategizing with placement/in-country teams to maximise the success of our business development projects.
- Onboarding of new clients into our system and management of the handover process to local placement teams
- Aligning our supply of opportunities to meet the demands of our University Partner team and Admissions requirements through setting targets for partner acquisition in ‘weak’ sector areas.
- Building and key account managing relationships with global, multinational partner organisations
- Support our Global Partnership Team to source tailored opportunities for university cohorts

- Right to work in either Bangkok or Hong Kong
Great to have:
- A grasp of Thai and Japanese
- Previous experience in regional sales processes
