YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Regional Account Associate Director Kaiser, are to: 

 

  • Execute customer strategy and business development;
  • Identify and create a regional business plan to deliver and maintain profitable access, for Bayer products at Kaiser that is in line with the National Business Plan;
  • Assist in the creation of the National Account plans and strategy to drive Bayer brand strategies and initiatives in Kaiser;
  • Take ownership and is accountable to drive outcomes and flawless execution of the developed plan;
  • Identify and contribute to innovative business opportunities to drive profitable short- and long-term customer partnerships;
  • Be able to build deep, meaningful relationships with KOLs and leverage them with C/D suite and Department Directors within assigned region to deliver customer-centric solutions;
  • Think and act strategically through joint customer planning, challenging the customer and creating competitive and breakthrough strategies that show a clear connection between vision and action Internal Collaborating, Coordinating and Alignment;
  • Support Kaiser strategy and initiatives with internal teams including Med Affairs, DGOS, TA field teams, Sales and Marketing, etc.;
  • Enable flow of customer insights to manager to allow Channel Marketing, Brand Access Teams and BUs to better understand the Kaiser dynamics and competitive trends;
  • Manage identification and assessment of new and innovative business partnerships;
  • Collect and analyze market insights and share with internal and external stakeholders to optimize business opportunities;
  • Communicate effectively, proactively and consistently with internal/external stakeholders;
  • Meet departmental and brand expectations inclusive of stretch goals through appropriate resource management and strategic innovative thinking;
  • Drive innovation through novel and best in class approaches;
  • Use a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses and actively seeking ways to further development;
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing initiatives among field teams to emphasize and disseminate best practices;
  • Provide strong sales and networking skills to consistently achieve results.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least eight years of related work experience in sales and / or account management;
  • Has in-depth understanding of how Kaiser operates and generates revenue;
  • Identifies future policies, practices and trends and with competition in the marketplace;
  • Consistently applies a business driver and marketplace focus when prioritizing actions with Kaiser;
  • Considered an "expert" on state of business for aligned brand;
  • Strategic mindset;
  • Sees the big picture, constantly imagines future scenarios and creates strategies to sustain competitive advantage for Bayer products;
  • Is a visionary with Kaiser and able to articulate credible scenarios and visions of possibilities with clear actionable plans;
  • Formulates a clear strategy and maps aggressive steps that will accelerate the organization toward meeting its strategic goals;
  • Ability to collaborate with Kaiser to strategically apply business practices and aligned strategies that will enable both organizations to meet business objectives;

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • M.B.A.;
  • At least two years account management within Kaiser, HP/ Regional PBM, Payer or IDN Scientific background and understanding of clinical trials.
