Job Description

  • To expand value - added services to support customer global growth objectives and increase Expeditors' revenues.
  • To understand all aspects of our customers' business and integrate the business needs of all departments and functional groups within our offered solutions.
  • To constantly seeking cost out and value add opportunities for their customers.
  • To establish service expectations and KPIs; and consistently conduct business review for compliance, improvement.
  • To jointly identify service and process improvement opportunities with the Expeditors offices to drive process streamline, execution excellence and cost efficiency for the customers’ business.
  • To establish systems requirements and drive systems solution integration between the customer and Expeditors. 
  • To create new business opportunities to grow with the customer by unwavering dedication to operational excellence and unsurpassed company alignment.
  • To ensure the account is provided with innovative and proactive focus on continued improvement.
  • To continuously develop their personal knowledge of Supply Chain processes, financial objectives and general business acumen to benefit their client and their personal careers.
  • To assist Global Account Manager (GAM) develop and continuously maintain Global/Regional Business Plan to identify account objectives, Expeditors' vision, key performance indicators, measures for success while identifying resources needed to reach these objectives.
  • To coordinate regional responses to customer's requests for rates and information, and overall rates management.
  • To provide assistance in resolution of claims and disputes; credit and collections.
  • To utilize, consult, inform, and incorporate Expeditors' management and staff where appropriate to develop and achieve account goals.
  • To assist Global Account Managers (GAMs), where deemed necessary, to meet business objectives.
  • To travel, when necessary, to support the customer and our continued operational and strategic excellence.
  • To perform additional duties as assigned by the Director – Account Management, North Asia to meet the regional development.

Qualifications

University graduate, preferably in business administration or related disciplines.   At least 6.5 years’ experience, preferably in global logistics industry.   Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and PC skills.  Experience in project management, development and documentation of business process and procedures.  Willing to travel.

  • The ability to understand process engineering, lean/agile concepts, and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience with managing financials, analyzing return on investment, and assisting the branches with their budget planning

  • Ability to collaborate and integrate across all levels of the organization
