Regional Account Manager, Haematology– Manchester & Yorkshire

What you will do
In this vital role you will be ensuring optimal Patient access to our current Haematology portfolio, in-line with Amgen’s mission “To Serve Patients”. You will be planning, organising and executing cross-functional activities to ensure Patient access to promoted brands, to meet regional and national aims & objectives. As well as diagnosing requirements and assuming responsibility for evaluating, developing and commercialising external opportunities and minimising threats at a regional level in line with Brand strategy.
The key accountabilities include:
- Delivering against territory sales targets by optimising local access for Amgen medicines including formulary, funding, guidelines and pathways
- Translating national plan to produce territory account plans to ensure achievement of account priorities and regional and national brand strategy, involving key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritisation of activities.
- Responsible for customer and account targeting, segmentation and prioritisation plans.
- Responsible for allocation of territory budget and additional marketing resource
- Shaping the local environment to support optimal future access and working closely with HSM colleagues.
- Developing understanding of customer organisations and influences customer decisions both clinical and payer.
- Conducting analysis and assessment of customers and accounts to ensure an understanding of issues.
- Ensuring all activities agreed within the account plans are implemented to completion within time, cost, compliance and quality constraints.
- Developing metrics for success and tracking progress relative to targets.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships to internal/external contacts and networks
- Maintaining effective collaboration within own and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, progress updates and knowledge share.
- Completing all administration and reporting requirements, e.g. CRM, and ensure compliance with Amgen record retention policy
- All role activities completed must meet team/Amgen standard operating procedures and quality standards

You would be joining a team of 3 other Haematology RAMs, alongside 4 Oncology RAMs, all of which make up the North Team in the Oncology Business Unit.

- Proven hospital only sales experience – preferably Haematology
- Strong relationships with the key budget stakeholders and/or Local Clinical Opinion Leaders
- A proven track record of consistently high performance in a hospital sales environment

- This is a field based position covering Manchester and Yorkshire, the majority of time at the moment would be spent at home conducting “virtual vists” with your customer groups.
