Job Description

The Regional Aftersales Manager, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars provides aftersales business management expertise to RRMC NA dealers on service, parts, accessories, warranty and customer relations related matters. He/She increases customer satisfaction at RRMC NA dealers and assists in developing RRMC dealer aftersales business/marketing plans and targets for service, parts, and body shop operations. In addition to establishing and managing dealer targets, the incumbent will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding regional specific targets supporting parts and accessory volume growth and service retention volume growth all while maintaining a satisfactory warranty and customer service index (voice of customer).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represents the interests of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to its dealer network to assure qualitative and quantitative market representation in an assigned geographic area.
  • Implements and manages regional Aftersales strategy and objectives. 
  • Responsible for and manages the achievement of dealer wholesale and retail parts sales/purchase objectives.
  • Leads and steers the growth of the Aftersales business via dealer negotiation and consulting and agreement of action plans to ensure delivery of objectives.
  • Conducts regular dealer visits completes Dealer Contact Reports which are then forwarded for action follow-up to the dealer Aftersales management team, Dealer Principal and internal RRMC Management team.
  • Monitors and advises dealer on stocking levels to ensure that appropriate stock is on hand to limit days a vehicle is in for service. Enhance the customer experience.
  • Consults with dealers on optimization of spare part warehousing.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and liaises with Customer Relations and Service Operations as needed to resolve all customer complaints/requests to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Implements and enforces dealer standards. Provides input for new standard recommendations and ensures dealers purchase required special tooling / equipment to remain compliant with current and future workshop / warehouse standards.
  • Drives Aftersales dealer development via direct dealer contact (agreement of targets, monitoring of target achievements, initiating dealer training, day by day optimization of workshop efficiency, dealer individual customer care strategy etc.)
  • Provides input to strategic activity and direction for Central RRMC Depts. (strategies, training concepts, IT solutions, etc.
  • Identifies Aftersales personnel technical and non-technical training needs and provides recommendations on training plans. Solicits commitment from dealer management to enroll personnel in required training to ensure dealers are compliant with Dealer Bonus eligibility training requirements.
  • Develops and implements marketing concepts and plans on a regional level to increase parts and accessory sales for new and pre-owned vehicles..

  • College or University degree in Business, Marketing or Automotive related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills in a wholesale or dealer environment.
  • 5-7 years experience in Aftersales wholesale and retail business management activities.
  • Strong current automotive background at either the dealer or manufacturer level.
  • A proven track record in growing parts sales, improving customer satisfaction, improving workshop efficiency and throughput.
  • Thorough understanding of retail service and parts performance metrics and the ability to utilize the information to assist dealers to optimize their Aftersales business.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer relations skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload and good coaching skills.
  • This role requires occasional travel
