My client is a international pharmaceutical equipment supplier, have a long history of establish business. My client has around 200 employees in China focus on R&D and commercial, and have a strategy to grow China business in next 5 years. Previouly legal affairs are handled by external law firm and Client want to hire a legal counsel to support the business growth and handle critical legal affairs.

1. Provide legal advice in business-related areas of expertise (e.g., corporate law, real estate, tax, business litigation, transactions/anti-trust, compliance, intellectual property, corporate governance, ethics, etc.)
2. Draft, structure and negotiate and legal contracts, letters of agreement
3. Providing training to internal stakeholders
4. Advising on internal compliance topics

1. PRC qualified lawyer. University or similar degree in law
2. A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
3. Experience with international contract law
4. Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin
5. With Experience of engaging with different stakeholders to accomplish company goals

1. Sole legal counsel role, a good chance to hands on all legal affairs.

2. Health-care industry is growing, and client set strategy to grow China business, legal team might expand, and candidate might move to head of legal role in future.

2. Practise communication skills, regular communication between both internal and external stakeholders.
