Department introduction:
We at Credit Management Europe actively manage the credit business and identify threats and opportunities at an early stage. At the same time, we continuously seek to increase efficiency and streamline processes in the credit area. As a strong partner to our local entities and to all related counterparties, we also provide guidance and reduce the complexity in our processes, procedures and policies. With this strong understanding of rules and instructions relevant in the credit area, we foster credit knowledge throughout the region by identifying training needs for the local entities.

All these activities are initiated to make profound, qualitative credit decisions for our Corporate and Dealer customers.

Your Tasks:

• Review and analysis credit applications forwarded by local entities to the Region
  
• Perform credit decisions in line with regional and global credit guidelines as well as in accordance with delegated credit authority limit
  
• Prepare necessary documents for assigned credit applications which require final decision by the Regional Credit Committee
  
• Coordinate the multi-country credit decision process and support multi regional credit applications with other Regions
  
• Prepare documentation of BoM files which require final decision by Board of Management
  
• Contribute and support an active exchange with local markets to foster a transparent, efficient and risk adequate credit decision process
  
• Support the development of new credit process and tools, as required

• Credit related topics e.g. policies, rules and guidelines
  
• Provide training and feedback to the local underwriting teams
  
• Perform reporting tasks which are assigned to the Regional Credit Operations team as defined in the respective global rules and procedures
  
• Prepare up-to-date internal management reports on KPI
  
• Support Business Controls in ensuring local markets resolve all Corporate Audit and Risk Review items through close coordination
  
• Monitor watch listed and problem credit customers and ensure proper discussion in Problem Credit Committee for the ones above local CAL
  
• Participate in cross-functional projects in the Region, collaborating with the colleagues in various functions or local markets
