About This Opportunity

The Regional Director of Taiwan and South Korea is a key member of the Leadership Team and will be responsible for leading Business Development strategies for Northern APAC (Taiwan, South Korea and cross functional with Mainland China).

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have experience in payments, eCommerce, banking, credit card, or mobile payments sectors. We are also looking for candidates with sincere interests in coaching and developing teams.

Responsibilities

Leadership
  • Lead the recruitment of new staff through aligned with InComm Values and core competencies
  • Coach through mentoring, respect and support
  • Coach, lead and develop a high performing team that is results driven through authenticity
  • Be a master communicator and guide others towards an outcome
  • Adept in critical thinking whilst assessing all options before making a decision quickly
  • Develop and inspire a team to implement the strategy and to collaborative objectives and targets

  • Identify training and mentoring opportunities to develop our staff and business
  • Demonstrated accountability to achieve business KPI’s and delivery of the business plan for the defined region
Strategy
  • Identify the market trend and develop unique value propositions through InComm solution differentiators
  • Formulate short- and long-term strategies to guide our business progressively forward
  • Utilise InComm network to transform the global commerce experience through innovative payment technology for retailers, brands and consumers.
  • Develop and execute the brand / channel partner development strategy across the defined region
  • Identify payment opportunities and existence of new payments solutions outside of our traditional business
  • Identify new forms of revenue and partnership in complimentary fields
Management
  • Manage programmes, projects, and budgets
  • Monitor, analyse and forecast investment raising targets/progress against targets
  • Prepare analytical and performance reports as required for management
  • Ability to lead projects and direct activities across the development teams.
  • Ability and experience to provide technical leadership on projects for the duration of the project lifecycle
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage contracts related the business, ensuring compliance with strategic objectives, internal policies and legal obligations
  • Lead and manage the regulatory and operational discussions related to markets managed
  • Identify, monitor and manage risks related to the team
  • Conduct regular one on ones with staff and provide documented development and career plans in line with InComm HR guidelines
Brand Partner & Channel Partner - Business Development
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs
  • Screen potential business opportunities by analysing market insights, strategies, client requirements, and financials; evaluating solutions; resolving internal priorities; recommending investments.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships. Manage and grow the relationships with each account and continually seek new opportunities to increase sales.
  • Develop a new business strategy with fundamental pipeline management evaluation.
  • Close new business deals and developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with operations and account management team
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, solutions, processes and operations, and remain up to date on industry relevance.

Qualifications

  • Degree in business management or associated field
  • Previous experience working with financial services, retailers or prepaid card favourably
  • Understanding of regulatory landscape related to markets managed
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting to change as needed. Ability to effectively manage crisis issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task is essential with a demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a regional role
  • Demonstrated experience dealing effectively in a calm and professional manner
  • Proven ability to implement strategic plans
  • Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
