The Regional Director-EHS is accountable for managing the Client relationships and ensuring all Client engagement opportunities have been identified and capitalized upon from the holistic BSI portfolio, incl. CSIR. The role is responsible for developing and driving the integrated offering from across all practice areas, within BSI Consulting, including CSIR, to penetrate their area of regional responsibility (West, South or East). The role has co-ownership of revenue in collaboration with the EH3S Director to reflect the breadth and depth of coverage and revenue. This role is a member of the BSI Consulting leadership team and will be a key member of the senior leadership community at BSI.

Essential Responsibilities:

•   Create, own and direct implementation of the agreed Regional Strategy for growing the breadth of BSI Consulting offering including the expansion of its regional market presence, geographic footprint and service offering

•   Work in collaboration with the other Regional Directors, incl. regional director for CSIR, and the EH3S Director to maximize the uptake of a broad Practice and Client portfolio across the various regions

•   Embed Key Account Management processes and a Sales culture across the Regional teams to drive revenue growth

•   Build in collaboration with the Practice Directors, SVP Strategy and Commercial Development and EH3S director the Regional go-to-market strategy, in support of growing BSI's key accounts and focus sectors

•   Partner with the EH3S Director, and leveraging the insight from the Sellers,  Account Leaders and Practice Directors, to develop the Practice portfolio to ensure that it can reflect differing geographical,  client requirements and complementary services

•   Manage the performance of the services within the Regional Clients portfolio and share insights on approach and services with the EH3S Director and individual Practice Directors

•   Collaborate closely with other Regional Directors to ensure that boundaries and client relationships are managed effectively by establishing clear ownership and accountability

•   Work with the EH3S Leadership team to continuously improve and develop the Sales and Client Management nationally and beyond to deliver service excellence

•   In collaboration with the EH3S Directors and with the input from the Practice Directors, establish center of excellence to engage employees and create opportunities for skills development, coaching and implementation of BSI Consulting methodology

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

  • 5 years’ experience leading a business unit with full P&L responsibility
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high performing teams
  • Working collaboratively in a complex organization, within a matrix structure
  • Engaging effectively with different senior stakeholders including clients, partners, other areas of BSI
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering best in class integrated client solutions, combined consulting, training/education, verification and software solutions
  • Mergers and acquisitions activity (buy side) along with integration experience
