职位描述

  • Leadership of the Regional Design & Artwork Operations and the associated suppliers.
  • Represents the interests of Marketing, while balancing the needs of the functional team within the process.
  • Provide clarity of business goals to the team and translate into a clear set of goals for the Design & Graphics suppliers
  • Protect Mars brand ownership and consumer recognition by delivering brand consistency for all pack formats, substrates and print processes
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on print capability and opportunities to Marketing and Design Agencies via direct site reviews as well as remote Supplier Management
  • Provide expert input on print quality and consistency to the regional printer portfolio, as well as contributing to printer performance reviews
  • Sustain good relationships with supplier leadership and supplier network to maintain a high awareness of industry capability, drive innovation and influence external strategic decisions relevant to the future needs of Mars
  • Oversee the process that delivers text specifications for all pack changes, ensuring conformance with recipes and local legislation in all markets
  • Protect the business from complexity, risk and cost through effective influencing of stakeholders in multiple functional areas
  • Deliver step-change improvements to the quality and efficiency of the supply chain for new packaging by shaping business process, developing systems solutions and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Identify and resolve causes of business process inefficiency (int. & ext.) through effective performance measurement and influencing of stakeholder behaviour
  • Authorise (or not) the resources for fast-tracking of critical business activities based upon broad business judgement, and maintain an efficient business process for doing so
  • Continuously improve cost, quality and service level of direct and indirect suppliers

任职条件

  • Bachelor or above degree holder with major in Industrial Design, Product Design or relevant
  • 10 years of experience with design, design thinking & execution
  • Experience in design strategy or design innovation management within a corporate or consulting environment
  • Has the ability to understand and blend insights across consumer, technical and financial to develop key directions for product strategies

Understand the value of design within a business context and will be expected to exploit this value within Innovation and Display projects for the regional market.
