Work hours: Mon-Fri, 830am to 530pm
Location: Marsiling, Singapore (8-10 mins walk from Woodlands MRT / bus interchange) 
Reporting into: Senior Manager, Supply Chain APAC (Laboratory Products Division) 


How Will You Make an Impact?

 
The Regional Hub Planner for Laboratory Product Division (LPD) APAC region is a position to manage APAC Regional SIOP. It is a set of decision-making processes to balance demand and supply, integrate financial and operational planning, and link high-level strategic plans with day-to-day operations.
 

What will you do?
 
Demand planning – APJ roll up to Global
 

  • Align the unconstrained demand forecast with the BU, commercial and product management teams.
  • Drive Forecasting metrics
  • Ensure SKU unit/case demand alignment is translated to Operations
  • Align the demand plan with the site planning team to assure the right net demand to be loaded to the site (Global level for the sites within region) :  Forecast less inventory = demand plan
  • Send the Demand Plan to the Site Production Planning Team to develop the constrained supply plan = Feasible Supply Plan 12 – 18 months out – Site Production Planning owns this
  • Communicate constraints and allocations to the BU, customer and sales teams (SOP needed)
  • Drive gap allocation processes together with other regions and the site planning team (lead by the analytics team) for short term and long term strategic planning
  • Manage the manual allocation process for day-to-day execution
  • Drive the product segmentation and alignment with commercial to decide on the right supply chain setup
  • Conduct the SIOP demand review meetings, bridge regional plan to regional financial plan
  • Plan ramp up and ramp down scenarios for new product introductions and product discontinuations
Hub Inventory Planning -  Regional
  • Define the parameters for the Singapore Hub and maintain master data
  • Define the inventory position on hub location in alignment with central inventory controlling
  • Define the supply chain setup at hub level, e.g. MTO vs MTS vs MTF in alignment with the site production planning team and the central inventory controlling
  • Communication to customer care on lead times and order status (internal customer, external via customer service)
  • Communication between regional hubs on status of internal shipments
  • Finished Goods Inventory Health (E&O, MOQs, SS)
  • Drive Finished Goods Inventory, Back-Order and OTIF delivery metrics


How will you get here?
 
  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Business  
  • At least 4-6 years experience in combination of demand forecasting, SIOP and regional experience within APAC
  • Familiarity with MNC and matrix environment
  • Good presentation and listening skills to drive influential, effective communication with stakeholders and counterparts on a consensus 
  • Experience with SAP or other MRP systems is a must
  • Experience with SFDC and Forecast software tool(s) highly preferred 
  • Proficient with MS Excel and analysis 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English. Ability to communicate in at least basic Mandarin with China counterparts is also a must.
