Essential Functions:

• Collaborates closely with Beijing HR Director to refine Beijing HR processes, monitor the effectiveness of their implementation across all campuses, continuously improve, and replicate them throughout all regional schools.
• Facilitates the development of HR systems and capabilities within our new and regional campuses – in Tianjin, Guiyang, and Hainan.
• Studies and continuously improves the overall employee experience for both international and Chinese staff, to ensure that it creates student and staff success, fulfillment, and happiness.
• Mentors, guides, and develops HR capacities across all regional campuses.
• Establishes HR systems for new campuses – especially Hainan campus, opening in Fall of 2020.
• Advances learning and growth of the whole BIBA schools community, through learning and development initiatives.
• Oversees talent development for all campuses, to ensure BIBA has the necessary bench strength of talent needed to fill key positions in the future.
• Assesses leadership development and culture needs across BIBA and its new campuses, and then designs, develops and implements strategies to advance them.
• Supports recruitment and on-boarding for key leadership positions across all campuses.
• Conducts regular audits of HR systems across all campuses to ensure they are meeting BIBA standards.
• Creates recommendations around organization structure and design that supports effective teamwork, support, and collaboration across our Chinese and international communities.
• Collaborates closely with regional schools leadership team that develops BIBA’s growth and coordinates new campus development plans and start-up team processes
• Other HR related duties as needed and as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and may require 25-70% travel to other school locations, depending on the needs.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Bachelor’s or above in HR or related field
• Over 10 years experience in Human Resources, with preferred emphasis in organization development and culture building.
• Prefer 2+ years experience in international school environment.
• Prefer bilingual candidate proficient in English and Chinese.
