Regional MarCom Manager (m/f/d) EMEA
Region Hennigsdorf bei Berlin
 
In this role and in close cooperation with the head of Regional Marketing, you plan and execute marketing communications and promotional programs to increase demand for the Clinical Diagnostics Division product lines of novel diagnostic clinical chemistry and immunoassays in the entire region.
 
Your responsibilities

  • Partner with MarCom Managers, Global Marketing of manufacturing business unit and regional Globals Sales and Marketing (GSM) team on product positioning/messaging and marketing mix for an alignment on the marketing campaign strategy and tactics.
  • Localization and implementation of global MarCom projects with regional country teams.
  • Develop, implement and report on local campaigns to support CDD growth in the region including advertising and marketing needs vs. available budget to maximise ROI.
  • Coordinate new product launches through the region and support GSM team to help create annual marketing plan for the region.
  • Develop and monitor annual MarCom plan and budget for the region.
  • Perform overall digital marketing strategy, develop and execute regional targeted digital campaigns via CRM tools with responsibility for lead collection, assimilation and follow up.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data such as market surveys questionnaires and opinion polls.
  • Create information update for regional GSM that will separate products by manufacturing business unit and product line, technical information, market updates, competitor intelligence etc.
  • Act as MarCom liaison for localization of SIMAPP program and website communication; coordinate update and need of marketing materials with MarCom Managers for manufacturing business unit.
  • Review and coordinate requests through Thermo Fisher Scientific Information Center.
Your qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in communication, marketing or natural sciences required  or similar education or relevant background.
  • Experience working in or with complex matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working in a scientific industry (healthcare, IVD, medical device, life science, or other scientific industry).
  • Educated to degree level in media studies, marketing, communications studies, journalism or an equivalent specialism.
  • Excellent working knowledge of major social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.
  • Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in integrated marketing communications and measurement.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate concisely and clearly in through multiple channels with global customers.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office tools, data mining and website changes.
  • Proven listening, negotiating and influencing paired with excellent communications skills with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing.
