Lloyd’s List Intelligence, a global company, part of Informa plc, is looking for an experienced Marketing professional to join it’s expanding team of 12 as the Regional Marketing Manager, APAC.
Based in either Shanghai or Singapore this role reports to the Head of Portfolio Marketing, based in London, and is needed to expand our market reach and engagement across APAC and support our growth goals.
You’re right for this role if you have at least 4 years’ experience in B2B Marketing roles, delivering campaigns that increase market reach, engagement and sales leads across existing customers and target prospects across the APAC region, specifically in Greater China.
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Marketing, you’ll be part of a global team defining opportunities to drive market growth of our data and analytics solutions, with your role supporting the localized marketing activities that deliver interest and demand.
You’ll be an expert in selecting and establishing Marketing channels to reach B2B buyers in specialist markets across APAC, especially in Greater China, working with partners if needed.
Comfortable with creating and analysing data in Excel, you’ll be used to working with Marketing colleagues around the world to create global and and country specific Marketing plans in line with business and commercial goals.
Your excellent language skills, digital marketing and cultural knowledge mean you’re experienced in delivering messaging that sounds and looks local, and that works to communicate messages in a relevant and impactful way, in line with campaign and country plans.
Job Description
- Analyze APAC sales data and inform global sector plans
- Analyze and report on local channel analytics : communicate what’s working to drive market reach and engagement
- Create country Marketing plans for agreed growth countries and sectors
- Report and monitor APAC focused marketing KPIs, understand and communicate the results and drivers
- Manage the translation and localization of sales enablement materials and communications, defined by Campaign Managers
- Agree Customer Data goals, define the strategy and manage partners needed to research and validate the required contacts in non-English speaking countries
- Manage successful regional face to face events as outlined in the Marketing plans
- Research and report on local competitor activity
- Select and build relationships with key partners and associations that support the agreed country, data and localization plans
Qualifications
First-hand knowledge of Digital Marketing channels and techniques used across APAC, including China.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of the principles of B2B Marketing including understanding the Buyer journey, managing the Marketing funnel, Sales enablement and Demand generation.
4 years’ experience in an International business to business company in Marketing communications roles. (Within companies providing SaaS, business data, analytics, or complex B2B solutions and products preferred.)
Educated to degree level: Marketing or Business preferred.
Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken), Japanese also an advantage.
Proficient in the use of Excel and Powerpoint.
Ability to travel as needed.
