How will you make an impact? (Objetive)

The Regional Market Development Manager for CDD (Clinical Diagnostics Division) is a member of the Latam Market Development team responsible for the implementation of the Go-to-Market strategy and demand generation for the LatAm Region. S/he will lead the development and execution of marketing plans to support the sales force in a dynamic market environment.
The successful candidate will be results-oriented leader and will coordinate closely with the rest of Market Development team and partners at various levels in the company to develop and execute marketing plans and positioning. S/he acts as project lead and liaison to internal and outside vendors, maintaining excellent professional relationships, in order to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective marketing programs leading to revenue, improved customer intimacy, and growth in a dynamic environment to achieve goals on time. Due to the current go to market structure, being able to understand and effectively work with dealers is key to drive meaningful marketing plans.

 
What will you do? (Responsabilities)       

Manage Region market performance in conjunction with sales leaders —short-term forecasting, sales and shipments, gap-to-close analysis and corrective actions as required
• Perform detailed analysis and routine reporting to LatAm and Global Marketing of Region business performance (i.e. Region revenue, unit/solution actual sales to forecast, campaign implementation status and results) so that appropriate actions can be planned. Recommend actions based on seasonality and competitive pressures, key partner performance and issues as appropriate
• Work with pricing and sales leadership to optimize Region pricing realization
• Plans and executes Region- and country-level NPIs, price actions, rollovers, upgrades and obsolescence of existing products;
• Responsible for adapting global campaigns and programs as well as developing them locally when required for execution in the region to establish strong customer and category positions including:
• Local communications deliverables, web content and translations when required
• Sales Training technical and positioning training when required

Metrics:
• Consistent tracking and analysis of region market performance
• Timely delivery of performance reporting
• All campaigns executed on time and on strategy
• NPS for region
• % of business over the web
• Customer measures—Region Market Share, Retention, Acquisition


How will you get here?

 

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree Biology, Pharmacy or related discipline with 3 years’ experience in Sales or Support functions as well as at least one year in a marketing role.
  • Required: Has thorough functional understanding of the marketing functions, planning and strategy, and in depth knowledge of life science research markets
  • Required: Ability to work on problems of routine to diverse scope. Ability to influence at a senior level without direct authority. Identifies problems, answers questions, gain cooperation of others and implement efficient solutions.
  • Required: language: Fluent in English. Intermediary in Spanish
  • Preferred: Master/Specialization in a life science area and/or Specialization  in marketing or business
  • Travel required: up to 30%
