Job Role Description The role covers primarily covers the profile of a senior performance controller for the Southeast Asian business of Siemens Grid Software. However, up to 30% of this role can be dedicated for Commercial Project Management and for Sales Finance functions This role is supposed to help ensuring the standards of books and records, improve the efficiency of financial processes and ultimately provide the right information with high degree of quality and transparency to enable the organization to make good business decisions. Job Responsibilities: Conduct performance controlling of Grid Software across Southeast Asia (P&L of countries and on aggregated regional level) Handling of financial reporting, incl. tools (Smart Report, SAP, others) Conduct financial analysis to ensure forecast accuracy, for cost saving measures, to improve KPIs, to challenge predictions, and for other similar objectives Develop templates (and occasionally slide decks) to improve efficiency on information aggregation, financial analysis and communication Support on creating more accountability through KPIs for the different Southeast Asian country teams, e.g. create transparency on overdue AR and interact with the responsible teams Support on communication with the HQ Performance Controlling team Ensure accuracy of books and records (in time and quality), including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP - ensure compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP requirements Up to 30%: Role of Commercial Project Manager and/or Sales Finance Manager Conduct financial planning, controlling and analysis for projects Manage financial results of the business and projects according to set targets and with due professional care; optimize profit, cash flow and assets Ensure compliance with contract documents; identify and pursue claims in cooperation with the assigned contract and project manager Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and initiate the development of contingency plans from a financial perspective Monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks/opportunities and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the extended Project Team. Support sales colleagues through the financial and legal process, e.g. bid calculation, risk evaluation, contract drafting, authorization process, etc. Support the development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and preparation of presentations to management and customers, some of these tasks can be done in collaboration with the regional performance controller Job Required Knowledge/Skills & Qualifications University diploma or equivalent experience 5-8 years of successful Commercial Project Manager, Sales Finance Manager and/or Business Controller experience Excellent understanding of IFRS and local GAAP Excellent familiarity with ERP systems Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Business acumen Advanced Excel and Power Point skills Job Preferred Knowledge/Skills & Qualifications Preferred Education: Bachelor degree in accounting/finance Preferred Certification: Project Management Certification (for small projects sufficient) Preferred Language skills other than English: Bahasa We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
