The GCO Regional Production Associate is a member of the Global Commercial Operations (GCO)’s Global Production Team and reports to the GCO Regional Production Manager (RPM). Working directly with regional/ local brand teams, the RPA will be accountable for delivery of GCO production services/ projects. Serving as the point of contact for brand teams and creative agencies, this individual must have the ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders and understand business and customer experience goals. The RPA will work closely with preferred suppliers and internal cross-functional areas to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.

Main responsabilities:

  • Manage the portfolio of projects for the assigned geographies, ensuring the quality and timelines of the Production Supplier are maintained with the markets and maintain an open dialogue on the feedback of the services.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, project management and critical thinking skills along with high cultural awareness to effectively deliver successful global production supported by a globally based multi-cultural team.
  • Accountable for identifying and understanding regional and local market content trends to enable GCO to provide feedback to TA brands teams via the Content Centre team that ensure global content meets the needs of the marketing companies.
  • Works with their respective markets to ensure all necessary communications and change management activities are delivered to the region and/or local marketing company for new content solutions.
  • Identifies potential new production capabilities to support operational/value expansion and proactively shares them with GCO colleagues and leadership.
  • Leverage reporting and utilization metrics to communicate overall adoption of GCO production.  Where there are gaps, work with GCO Leadership and Global Production Leadership to identify opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency.
  • Possesses strong business acumen and understanding of global business services and corresponding business requirements.  Must be able to assess complex process and system interdependencies and devise appropriate change management approaches in order to realize and sustain benefits of new production capabilities.
  • GCO services are delivered through multiple outsourced partners in conjunction with AZ dedicated resources. This role demands an understanding of supplier infrastructure to ensure continuous value optimisation for AstraZeneca. It also requires a continuous review of demand and capabilities that our partners need to provide to make sure they are aligned to the market’s needs.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding and application of all relevant policies, procedures and operational frameworks. Ensures GCO direct and indirect reports comply with all appropriate AZ Code of Conduct policies and procedures.
