Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Regional Import product Quality compliance
- Comply with all standard operating procedures in place to ensure the compliance of the import product to all our market
- The Quality Manager is responsible for the overall quality assurance for import product and support the local quality teams.
- Communicates quality topics and KPIs to the different stakeholder and local quality team
- Support and solve all defect or non-compliance with Vendors
- Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and reporting of the Direct Import and Private Brand customer complaints process and quality Claim.
- Ensure all technical documents and golden sample are recorded and archived
- Regional Import Factory compliance
- Ensure the social and technical Audit compliance of the direct import Vendor
- Responsible for establishing inspection and quality control standard which is in conformance with the specification of the products and the relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish, train, motivate, mentor and evaluate Quality Department’s on site and off site teammate performance.
- Implement and maintain with sourcing team a QA supplier management system for all private label suppliers.
- Regional Quality Management
- Coordinate with local team all quality activities and regional project
- Identifies weaknesses in the quality process and/or quality performance and initiates improvement projects together with local operations and quality teams
- Keep abreast with changing Regulatory Standards, industry best practices and emerging trends to provide input to Toys “R”Us Asia Leadership.
- Leads the Quality System management review.
- Responsible for implementation and validation of quality-related computer systems at GS and Asia.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree or equivalent in a Technical or Scientific discipline, ideally with additional qualification(s) in quality or regulatory affairs.
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience of development, implementation and management of Quality Assurance systems in an international sourcing office
- Experience in supervising or managing a team.
- Demonstrated track record in Quality Management System improvement
- Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational, technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work with and empathise with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to work with third parties.
- Ability to analyse information, draw conclusions and make sound and timely decisions.
- Ability to prioritise and respond to change quickly.
- A passion for continually improving processes with a focus on results.
- Demonstrated people management skills, a strong team builder with good strategic perspective who possesses strong influencing skills.
- Strong leadership skills to lead, guide and motivate QC staffs, both on-site and off-site.
