Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic sales directions, leadership and motivation to APAC sales organization
- Build and develop dynamic sales / distribution team that effectively and efficiently cover target markets and geographies.
- Establish standards, expectations, guidance, clarifications, information and feedback pertaining to performance of sales team.
- Coach proactively and whenever needed to manage under-performing team members. Conduct open career development dialogues with subordinates
- Establish mechanism to monitor actual business results against plan, communicate status of plan to all stakeholders and develop business corrective actions to ensure business on track.
- Implement Sales Opportunities KPIs tracking mechanism aim at increasing sales productivity to deliver New RMR targets (Pipeline values, Stuck Opportunities, Strike Rate & Velocity, RMR closed, RMR installed)
- Work closely with VP & General Manager APAC in developing and implementing strategic sales plan that support the attainment of overall regional business objectives.
- Work collaborative with Regional Head of Marketing, Innovation, Customer Care & Inside Sales, Operations, Finance, and Global Strategic Sales Team to ensure highly effective, professional business relationships with key stakeholders at all levels is maintained and to contribute in achieving DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding) and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) objectives.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience & Inside Sales Team, and Tech Service Team to track and improve attrition rate.
- Work closely with Legal Counsel to ensure full compliance.
- Lead sales team to manage distributors in target markets, to acquire, penetrate and retain direct customers RMR business to grow total APAC sales revenue effectively and efficiently.
- Engages targeted Strategic Accounts with Decision Makers of customers’ organization in regular contact to understand their business needs, and identify buying behavior, preference, business dynamics, challenges, and value drivers in order to best position current and new ScentAir scent solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree.
- 15+ year sales experience in business-to-business environment, with minimum 5 years in managerial role.
- Successful background in Sales Leadership with focus on Coaching & Development; Strong Strategic or Key Accounts Management skills, with solution selling experience (not transactional selling).
- Ability to coach & manage multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Identifying problems, drawing connections from various pieces of data, and taking action to proactively solve.
- Result oriented, outgoing personality, presentable.
- Fluent spoken English, Mandarin. High proficiency in written English and Chinese
- Confident in communicating to various levels of customer organization.
- Understanding / articulating relevant business / technical trends to others in a way that is clear and understood by the audience.
- Computer literacy and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Salesforce application is preferred
- Sound business and financial acumen with ability to relate decisions to business impacts.
- Working independently to manage one’s own time and resources in order to meet or exceed set objectives.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively to superior and colleagues in all functions required a need to perform duties
