#### Position Description:

looking for a strong Regional Sales Director to lead our Higher Education
Public Sector sales team to execute an aggressive growth strategy. Today,
Lenovo is a leader in Education and Commercial PC sales and we plan to
continue our Higher Education growth in the US.

The Higher Education Regional Director of Public Sector Sales will lead,
motivate and manage a regional team of high performing sales account
executives. The ideal candidate will have sales leadership experience in the
IT industry, as well as the Public Sector space (specifically Higher
Education); and the ability to articulate a thorough understanding of the
education space. He/she will be responsible for developing and executing an
aggressive customer acquisition campaign in the education market, as well as
retaining our current base of education customers across a defined region of
the US.

The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate his/her ability to align new
product and service offerings to the business and technology needs of the
education market. He/she will also be responsible for expanding relationships
within customers and our large business partners. He/she will implement our
Public strategy for selling Lenovo’s portfolio of hardware, software and
services into the Public market. We are looking for an exceptional leader and
coach with strong sales operations skills and the ability to form and develop
high-level relationships with all levels of the Higher Education
organizations. Must be seen as a leader in the industry to make an immediate
impact in the organization; strong rolodex of Customer and industry contacts
is a must.

#### Position Requirements:


Strong knowledge and established relationships within education entities and
channel partners focused in Education space
• 5+ year proven track record in Public Sector/Education (SLG, K-12, Higher
Ed) sales is required
• 5-7 years of relevant Public Sector management of sales professionals is
required
• Must have the ability to quickly develop organization agility and leverage
extended teams.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team
building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales
engagements concurrently.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Public Sector business practices including
relevant contracts, procurement processes, and requirements necessary when
selling to this highly-regulated market.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
• Candidate must be located in the defined Region.
