Job Description

Field Sales Engineer – Electrical Sector Sweden ( location: Jönköping or Gothenburg )

The Field sales engineer is responsible for building new business, mainly with
Eaton’s Low voltage components portfolio to selected customer segments.
You are frequently visiting customers to present products and solutions and
negotiating deals. Having your own customer responsibility and interacting with
these through phone, web-meetings and physical meetings.
The position is part of the Commercial & Industrial Buildings team and located
preferably in Jönköping or Gothenburg.

Your key deliverables:
Acting with strong focus on creating growth!
Developing new and maintain existing business with selected target
groups to reach or exceed Profit plan.
Establishing good relationships with clients and engaging with them on
short- and long-term projects.
Conducting customer contacts and presentations, from the office or in
physical meetings.
Attending exhibitions and professional meetings. Presenting to targeted
and general audiences.
Preparing technical presentations and demonstrations.
Creating proposals, negotiating and closing deals.
Conducting Cold calls.
Quotation second follow up.
Reporting your work in our CRM system.
Managing and keeping up-to-date pricing contracts.
Ensuring total alignment with the parallel teams.
Understanding the competitive environment and market demands.

 

Qualifications

Skills Required:

 

Bachelor’s degree, Electrical engineering.
Consolidated experience and proven track record in a sales engineer role
in a B2B environment.
Analytical – able to confidently analyse and summarise data using relevant
tools (excel pivot tables, Power BI) to support proposals.
Proven planning skills, ability to leverage KPI’s to ensure goal
achievement.
Highly effective cross-functional Team Player, able to recognise needs
and challenges of stakes holders and develop tactics to support change
management.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Flexible and adaptable – not constrained by preconception and able to
evolve approaches based on business needs.

Note
This position requires travelling and some overnight stays.
