We currently have a unique opportunity for a passionate Regional Account Manager to join a group of innovative and future thinking people, with a passion for driving software sales. Based in either Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand, and reporting into the Head of MDM Sales - Digital Grid, you will identify, implement, and drive sales for our MDM Software business throughout the Asia-Pac region. The successful candidate will manage and support MDM Salespeople in their regions. Own and manage the Asia-Pac MDM Sales book of business, which will encompass strategically driving sales initiatives for cross-selling and upselling as well as entering entirely new customer segments. You will build and maintain strong relationships with C-Level stakeholders at major accounts though out the territory, and clearly communicate Digital Grid’s vision, value proposition and key differentiators to C-level customers and enable your team to do so. We are working on an amazing product portfolio – your leadership will help us penetrate the markets successfully. In addition, you will help build a team to help execute on sales initiatives and strategy, partnering with the MDM Product Management Organization (known in the industry as Energy IP) and lead the re-design of the digital buyer’s journey and customer experience. Leading the transition from selling perpetual license to SaaS as we transition our customers and prospects to the cloud. You will develop market, region and customer-specific sales strategies and follow through on these strategies, helping Siemens to generate new business. Lead & execute field sales campaigns against targeted verticals. Taking a data-driven approach to sales steering. As well owning the organization of meaningful customer events (sales fairs, customer demo events etc.), and leading the development of localized content for sales enablement programs for the region. You will be customer obsessed, ensuring you take your customers on a journey.   “We are not looking for superheroes, just super minds.” To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a proven track record in crafting an outstanding and intuitive, digital buyer’s journey, as well as the ability to work across business units, countries, and portfolios to ensure collaboration. We are looking for extensive experience selling software, ideally to utility customers (License and SaaS / Cloud), demonstrate ability to manage, analyse and win complex bids.
