Reponsibility:
- Realize the yearly budgeted results in terms of volumes and margins for F&C in China and other targeted customers or/and Countries.
- Drive execution of key local projects aiming diversify the portfolio
- Contribute to the development of segment strategy, secure regional input.
- Develop and propose a regional sales and marketing plan with primary focus to China market, but not limited to just China.
- Manage sales within OTC framework, responsible for accurate sales forecasting as input for S&OP cycle.
- Lead, challenge and support sales and technical activities in order to realize the sales plans (Plan Do Check Act – Support ‘Plan’ & ‘Check together’ with Segment Marketing (Performance Management)
- Continuously improve the quality of order handling and complaint handling; optimize DSM sales conditions.
- Align and cooperate with Innovation departments on AD and ADTS and other technical activities that are required to realize the sales plan.
- Support implementation of IP strategy (defend and leverage) in close cooperation with Global Business director and IA Manager.
Requirements:
- Managing a regional organization serving a global market with complex interaction throughout the whole value chain
- Global cooperation across the regions essential for business success
- Managing Sales & Marketing tactics to cope with changing business environment.
- Coordination over and agreement with various disciplines and getting things done without hierarchical authority
- Managing a team with a variety of functions in it (sales, marketing, ADTS, business development)
- Entrepreneurial mindset to open new markets and innovative business models
- Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in chemistry/technology and/or business administration
- Knowledge and experience in own discipline:
- Broad view on business steering models and business processes and 8 to 12 years experience preferably in PTO and OTC-related disciplines
- Sales experience is required
- B2C experience is a PLUS
- Managerial and social knowledge and experience:
- Excellent communication and social skills
- International working experience
- High level of result orientation
- Managing team structures
