Job Description

  • Ensure a close communication with the Sales Companies

Build and maintain relationship with the sales companies within his/her region.


  • Build relationship with shipyards and ship owners

In coordination with the sales companies build relationship with the market in order to drive business in short and long term.


  • Involvement in sales projects

Engage in the daily FCM sales projects. Teamwork together with sales companies and SRM.


  • Involvement in sales projects


  • Business management

Business Planning – Establish a Regional Business Plan.

Follow-up and reporting (OI, CGM, MS, NI).

Business intelligence – continuously collect information regarding market, and competitors.


  • Application expertise

Be specialist in the fuel- and lube oil process on board vessels.

  • Pricing

Providing input for target and alarm prices as well as “below alarm request”.


  • Business development

Identifying business opportunities, proposing input for the segment′s TTM-process, proposing sales tools and participating in product launches.


  • Business Support

Provide adequate training and manage day-to-day support.


  • Process development

Participate in development of processes that will increase quality and sales.


Competencies/ Profile:

  • Strong commercial orientation

  • Ability to motivate others

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Open-minded and flexible


Qualifications & experience:

  • University degree or similar in either engineering or mechanical and some years’ experience from international business.

  • Preferably marine experience.

Good command of spoken & written English
