Job Description
This role is for the after-sales Service of Industrial Steam Turbines that includes sales of Spare Parts, overhauling and Repair. The specific requirement of this role is to cover the entire Northern, Eastern and North-East India regions customer w.r.t to after sales service requirements. The candidate must be able to lead the team comprising of the regional front sales professional(s) and sales-support professionals. The candidate must be able to set the team priorities w.r.t sales opportunities and must drive the after sales business independently to increase the sales volume and serve the customers. The candidate must possess excellent leadership qualities in order to motivate the team and also guide the team to increase the business volume. Frequent travel would be an integral part of the job. Proactively connect with the customers to generate new Service opportunities. Keep track of the upcoming turbine overhauls and promptly create offers for the spare parts and repairs. Should be well versed with Industrial Steam Turbines product portfolio and have good technical understanding of the technology. Should have very good connect with the customers and possess strong negotiation and convincing skills. Identify potential customers, build and maintain relationship with new and existing customers. Stay closely connected with the customers and provide extensive support to the customers on a regular basis. Collaborate internally with proposals, PM, OM, Engineering and Field Service teams in order to ensure timely resolution of customers inquiries and requests. Ensure timely submission of offers and monitor the price & delivery commitments in alignment with internal functions. Criteria: >15years experience into Sales (preferably into Service business of Industrial Steam Turbines) B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute Should possess strong communication and presentation skills Knowledge of Steam Turbines Strong understanding of commercial and financial aspects of contracts. Excellent negotiation skills. Excellent people management & leadership skills.
