Job Description
This is a newly created role will be responsible for driving business growth through managing distributors and direct customers in the assigned markets. In partnership with internal stakeholders (technical team, product specialists), you will work together with the Regional Sales Manager to build on the success to the regional team and bring the business to the next level.
Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Jointly work with Regional Sales Manager to manage and develop new launch plans for all new models effectively to the right target segment.
- Analyse and report to the Regional Sales Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
- Work with distributor partners in the AP region, responsible for achieving agreed target annual sales volume.
- Develop new accounts in AP region and educate distributor partners and corporate customers on Nihon Kohden products. Provide pre- and post-sale product demonstrations, customer product in-services and clinical support.
- Manage and foster strong business relationship with the corporate customers, distributor partners and end users.
- Conduct of training and seminars for corporate customers and distributor partners to ensure appropriate skills sets and product knowledge, and driving brand awareness.
- Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to support distributor partners.
- Manage and work with Sales team to tender costing, commercial terms and conditions.
- Any ad-hoc projects as assigned by Regional Sales Manager.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Business, Marketing or equivalent.
- Min 3-4 years of relevant experience in sales, channel management and marketing preferably in the field of medical devices is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills for effective product presentations and troubleshooting.
- Individual who is a team player, self-starter, resourceful, and an effective problem-solver.
- Flexible, open-minded and easily adapts to any given circumstance.
- Able to work efficiently even when under pressure.
- Ability and willingness to travel to AP region.
