Objective of job
The Regional Software License Consultant combines two roles：
•Regional contact partner for licensing issues to the business
Contract Manager for local/regional smaller Software contracts
Define a supplier and partner strategy, maintain the relationships with the external partners, monitor the performance of the partners, the fulfillment of the contractual obligations and the achievement of the committed financial objectives.
The responsibilities include the software asset management, the management of subscriptions, SW-portfolio management & governance and compliance management for managed products as well as customer relationship management to the business units. Furthermore the sub-function coordinates the drafting and renewal of contracts and manages the handling of licenses.

•Regional Software License Consultant
-1st level support for all license and contract topics
-Contact partner for 2 nd level support in close cooperation with GCM team
-Regional Stakeholder Management
-Communication on all Global Contract and License aspects with regional contacts and business partners
•Contract Manager for local demands
-Manage local contracts alone or in a team
-Support and enrich global contracts with local requirement
-Covers the whole lifecycle: Requirements, negotations, governance, price calculations, reporting, billing, compliance
-Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders (IT, Supplier, Legal, Procurement) on different levels
-Optimize license portfolio based on strategic, business and financial views
•Software Asset Management (SAM)
-SAM Architecture goverenance to ensure license compliance
-SAM Server & Client Compliance
-SAM Software Survey for internal crosscharging
•Supplier management
-Define a supplier and partner strategy
