Regional Tactical Marketing Manager, Industry - Southern Europe
Permanent Contract
How will you make an impact?
The Regional Marketing Manager for Industry, Southern Europe, will be responsible for driving localized marketing plan execution for the Food Protection and Pharmaceutical markets for the full suite of products across his/her region. He/she will work closely with the Commercial organization and Brand Managers to guide and support them with analysis, targeting, and customer-specific marketing approaches to accelerate the divisions business objectives.
Located in France, Italy or Iberia, you will cover Southern Europe and travel frequently (25%-50%).
What will you do?
Develop and implement a winning regional marketing plan for his/her region aligned to the Annual Operating Plan
Develop and execute marketing campaigns, whether region-wide or country-specific
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in his/her territory
Proactively collect market intelligence in his/her territory, feeding it back into the organization to drive better strategic planning and execution
Support Commercial organization with customer targeting, support material (e.g., total-cost-of-ownership models, battle cards, etc.), and expert guidance on Food Protection and Pharmaceutical products
Create business cases for Southern Europe New Product Initiations
Join on high-value sales calls as the Food Protection and Pharmaceutical products expert
How will you get here?
Sales/Marketing degree or microbiology degree preferred but not required
3-5 years’ experience in direct sales with Food Protection or Pharmaceutical customers
Experience in marketing or experience collaborating closely with regional marketing colleagues while in Sales
English required; one additional language in territory preferred
Ability to create strategic plans, translate them to tactical programs, and drive execution
Strong track record of driving improvement in business performance
Personal attributes:
Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple work streams
Ability to listen and influence across teams (without direct authority)
Willingness to travel (25%-50%)
