We are looking for a highly capable Regional Talent Management Lead / Associate Director Talent Management to join a diverse, collaborative team of talent specialists whose focus is to drive performance through talent strategies across the EEMEA area (circa 40 countries). You will be instrumental in educating and consulting with Leaders and Business Human Resources (HR) on talent management best practices to drive talent outcomes and business performance for the EEMEA Commercial organization. Through leading talent strategies, you will enable best in class talent processes, drive talent outcomes and build capability with our leaders and key talent. What the role involves Partnering with BHR and key stakeholders, you will establish and implement talent and development strategies, in alignment with the broader AbbVie Talent strategy and practices. This will involve coaching leadership to identify top talent within the organization and differentiating their development, along with creating a deep pipeline of talent. Leading process implementation for Performance Management and Talent Reviews is a key outcome as is training BHR on practice, process and tools and supporting BHR and leaders to implement the processes to consistent, high standards. Assessing outcomes of talent management processes, you will drive better process and talent outcomes year over year. Providing proficient consultation on all phases of talent management such as succession planning, assessment and feedback, development planning, and senior leader transitions is a key task. You will also provide insights that lead to solutions and actions to consistently build the capability of our talent. It will give broad exposure to leadership in the business and HR and will offer the right candidate a career path into larger roles within the Talent Management space at Area or Global level or within BHR. Qualifications Your Skills, Experiences and Qualifications You should have a strong base in Human Resources Management with an emphasis as a Talent Management SME, preferably complemented with HR business partnering experience. Proven experience leading teams directly and indirectly is important as is fluency in HR analytics to identify insights that lead to improved talent outcomes. A strength will be managing complex projects across multi-disciplinary, matrix environments. You will also have an ability to build executive ready presentations and communicate with executive audiences. Experience in developing strategies and implementing the related tactics is critical as is exposure to leveraging senior business leaders to sponsor solutions. Exceptional stakeholder management and consulting skills will be required. We prefer that you hold a bachelor’s degree (in specialisms such as HR or business management) and a master’s degree is a plus, but we remain open to candidates without these qualifications if they have complemented their capability with other strong experiences. You will have worked in a large multinational company with a high level of complexity. Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is plus but diverse experience from other industries is also interesting.
