Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, organisation, implementation and evaluation of all cancer education activities, including public talks, professional conferences/symposia, oncology course & exhibitions, etc.
• Design, prepare and edit educational publications for public and professionals
• Provide training to volunteers to carry out simple educational tasks for public
• Handle public enquiries on cancer
• Liaise and deliver cancer talks to collaborators like schools, community centres, workplaces, corporations, etc.
• Liaise/collaborate with other departments and cancer platforms/organisations in cancer education events
• Monitor and supervise update on cancer education materials on the HKACS website
• Assist survey related to cancer if needed
• Assist press conferences as required
• Undertake all other duties as assigned by supervisor & the CEO

Requirements:

• Current registration with Nursing Council of Hong Kong
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Chinese & Mandarin
• Clinical experience in oncology settings is preferable
• Experience in organising health education programmes is preferable

Successful candidates will be offered a renewable contract term appointment with up to 10% of total basic salary as contract-end gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
