Location: North Point

Roles & responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care;
• provide triage and assessment services;
• provide nursing support for the centre’s operations and service delivery e.g. endoscopic procedures and screening services;
• perform clinical duties, such as blood taking;
• perform disinfection and sterilizing of medical instruments;
• observe clients’ physical conditions after endoscopy;
• provide counseling and health education to clients, their relatives and the public;
• handle data entry of examination results;
• follow up the clients with abnormal examination results;
• assist Clinic Manager in managing the centre’ equipment and inventory;
• assist Clinic Manager in performing administrative duties; and
• perform any duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• a Certificate of Registration (Part I) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong or equivalent;
• a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
• preferably with post-registration experiences in endoscopy/operating theatre or related specialty;
• preferably with qualifications in endoscopy training or related discipline; and
• preferably with qualifications in Boiler and Receiver Safety Courses.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $31,750 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 15). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
