About the role
Key responsibilities
  • Ensure local and imported products regulatory compliance to China applicable regulation [e.g. nutrition, infant formula, food additives, functional ingredients, nutritional beverage etc.]
  • Conduct product compliance check, proofreading products labels& packaging, fulfill customer questionnaire etc. with cross functions according to company procedure when new product launch.
  • Maintain and assure the integrity and accuracy of database, close monitor and track the new regulation [especially Nutrition, Infant formula and Dairy regulation]at both local and international level in varied areas [e.g. food labelling, nutrition, health claim, importation & exportation, product registration etc.]
  • Facilitate the promotion and protection of company IP.
  • Delivery essential pre-analysis from regulatory point to R&D MKT when innovation projects.
  • Interpreting standard and regulation to sustain site manufacturing Quality, Operation etc. [e.g. New production license or new enterprise standard petition.]
  • Extract the regulation new revision (or revision trend) and critical impact on products and compile to deliverable technical data [e.g. newsletter, training presentation etc.]to various internal departments.
  • Driver the product registration activities in China by compiling appropriate dossiers, submissions and responses to regulatory bodies.
  • Provide from global and regional regulatory landscape research & analysis on specific issues & topics, delivery position papers in response to potential and new standards and regulations.
  • Support RA team in development and implementation of internal and external projects if needed.
Qualifications and skills
  • B.S. in Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related field preferred; MS preferred.
  • Good English Skills, communication and presentation skills both in oral and writing.
  • Solid experience in food area, Strong knowledge of domestic and international regulations will be beneficial.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of counterparts, Critical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
