Job Description
A Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for interacting with our existing and new clients on a daily basis. The RM will manage the relationship between PrimeXM and the clients, focusing on business development of the existing client base. The RM will develop a strong understanding of PrimeXM's services as well as the client's setups, enabling him to identify potential needs of the clients, which can be satisfied through our offering. Therefore, the RM's focus will be to explore new business opportunities from our existing clients as well as any synergies between our clients.
Additionally, the Relationship Manager will be responsible to assist new clients throughout the on-boarding process and on-going, facilitating a better communication with the client, understanding their requirements, and consulting the client in regards to their needs. The RM will act as an intermediary, helping with the interaction between the clients and PrimeXM’s other departments.
A good fit for the Relationship Manager position is a person who is passionate, proactive and happy to interact with clients. This role may require to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, therefore it is important to be self-motivated and ambitious.
The position will be based in Shenzhen, China
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Building and maintaining a solid relationship with the clients through regular calls, emails
- Maintaining a solid understanding of PrimeXM's offering and the client's setup details
- Identifying new business opportunities with the existing clients
- Updating clients on an on-going basis about the new developments and offerings of our system
- Providing guidance to clients during the on-boarding process
- Providing guidance and training to clients during post on-boarding period
- Facilitate interactions between clients
Secondary tasks and responsibilities
- Handling contract signing and setup details for new clients
- Handling client inquiries and setup changes requests, liaising with the right departments
- Distributing the information and requirements from other departments to the clients
- Obtaining feedback and updates from the client and escalate to the management
- Managing client expectations when necessary
Experience and abilities
- At least 1-2 years of account/relationship management experience
- Financial Markets experience is a plus
- Moral and ethical is a must
- Good communication skills
- Customer oriented
- Efficient and responsible
- Be able to work both independently and in a team
- Good understanding and great interest in Software
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background: finance related is a plus, master degree is a plus
- Native Chinese (Cantonese) or Japanese speaker
- Proficiency in English, especially speaking and writing
Working hours
- Regular working hours, on an 8hours/day & 5 days a week basis. It may be required, sporadically, to adjust working hours based on client’s demands and schedule.
