Job Description
Responsibilities
- Planning of multiple releases to deliver a product including overall lifecycle per release, including designing release guideline that should be implemented
- Coordinate release content based on product backlog, pending request and third-party application and systems
- Managing risks and issues that may affect release cycle and scope
- Communication of business requirement, changes and project plans to senior management
- Reporting of release business and technical readiness, schedule and updates
- Coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule
- Measure and monitor of overall progress including to provide management reports on release progress, its delivery on time and within budget as well as its business value add
- Coordinate release content and effort based on the request backlog, pending requests, third party applications, or system updates
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
- Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
- Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
- Conduct improvement analysis and assessment on release process
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of previous release and/or project management experience
- Prior experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
- In-depth knowledge of the one (or more) Agile methodologies, with experience in leading agile delivery from inception to outcomes
- Formal training in project management practices preferred
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must, verbal and written. Cantonese and Mandarin would be advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project)
