In this role, you have the opportunity to

to provide lean procedures for the introduction of software release, patches and configurations exceeding customer’s expectations, minimizing risks, optimizing resources for deployment and maintenance activities.

As a central reference point within all HCIS Services you will develop test procedures, documentation and tools to facilitate knowledge sharing, promote best practices and increase Services quality

The HCIS EMEA Release Management Specialist is also responsible for supporting all regional Implementation activities, remotely and on-site, being the Subject Matter Expert for local Implementation Engineers and Application Consultants

You are responsible to

  • Participate in HCIS Product Commercialization programs with the following responsibilities:

  • Verify Install ability and upgradability of new patches and releases

  • Test and verify that new patches and releases can be installed and configured on site in a transparent way for the customer

  • Verify that bug-fixes are correctly developed with no regressions or side effects

  • Validated support to released platforms and architectures

  • Create or review all relevant service documentation and ensure it is complete prior to releasing the product

  • Participate in Platform validations: build and Test and Validate new hardware platforms such as new workstations, monitors, servers and storage; collect or create documentation about installation on new platforms and make it available for Service Community

  • Create and test Ad-Hoc Release Packages in order to validate specific solutions required by customers.

  • Contribute to Service Knowledge improvement in the region with the following responsibilities: Maintaining Training Infrastructure; Manage Training Calendar; Create training packages; organize trainings; Deliver classrooms and on-site trainings, both to customers and to internal personnel

  • Participate in training programs to enhance training and applications consulting skills as well as image quality expertise.

  • Support project implementation activities, being a regional Subject Matter Expert and single point of escalations for implementation issues: Managing Implementation Escalations; Managing relationship with R&D in case of major issues; Testing hot-fixes before implementing on site.

  • Provide product demonstrations at customer sites and at exhibitions as required.

You are a part of

the team responsible for Release Management process and all related activities in the EMEA region, based in Genoa.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University Degree/Master Degree or equivalent in IT, technical field, or a related field

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Understand radiology workflow

  • To have a proven track record in medical applications consulting and training (PACS and RIS)

  • Understand Medical Standards: DICOM and Health Level Seven (HL7), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise

  • Understand the testing and release management processes

  • Understand technical document writing

  • Customer Relationship Management skills

  • Ability to develop and follow processes that drive improvement in productivity and quality

  • Italian mother tongue and excellent verbal and written English language skills
