Job Description
Position Overview Siemens Government Technologies is seeking a driven, results-oriented, independent-thinking individual who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast-paced, challenging, government-facing environment. We are seeking a Design for Test AE. This position will be responsible for supporting the use of Siemens EDA’s Design for Test (DFT) technologies in the design of complex Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs. As a DFT AE, you will be part of a team contributing to the design of complex ASICs for the most advanced military and aerospace companies, as well as enabling them to utilize our advanced methodologies around our Tessent tool suite. Job Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: •BSEE or BSCS, or equivalent; MSEE preferred •3+ years of ASIC Design-For-Test experience •Existing Design for Test experience is required including the following: Scan, ATPG Embedded Compression MBIS Boundary Scan IJTAG •Knowledge of ASIC design is required •Interested in applying engineering skills in a creative way to solve unique customer challenges •Existing DoD Secret clearance or previous clearance required •US Citizenship is mandatory •Existing DoD Secret clearance or previous clearance required Job Description The Design for Test AE will be responsible for: •Working with the sales team to help lead, define and implement the technical engagements that support sales campaigns. •Working with customers to plan, implement and deploy DFT flows •Enabling customer adoption of the full capability of Tessent software and methodologies •Effectively communicating how Siemens DFT Software products and service offerings address customers’ technical objectives •Articulating customer’s technical requirements and influencing product engineering to shape product direction •Building and maintaining ongoing positive relationships with customers. •Working collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success. •Deliver Tessent-based solutions to address our customer’s technical and business needs •Travel will be involved mainly within the US Security Clearance Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD security clearance, but a previous clearance that has expired might be considered.
