The Role
Join Amgen’s remote sales team and maximize sales of General Medicine products over the telephone. Reporting to the Remote Team Sales Lead, you will achieve sales targets and set KPIs by collaborating with the Sales Lead and sales team to implement an agreed plan of action in line with the marketing strategy and deliver key messages to high quality customers by applying an in-depth knowledge of the product(s), market, stakeholders and competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Promotion of ethical medication to segmented target list of health care professionals, to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with sales lead to develop and implement territory plan of action and project plans
- Liaise and collaborate with field team members to share information, feedback competitor activity and capitalise on potential synergies and opportunities therefore generating delivery of telesales objectives
- Engage with peers and sales lead to learn/share best practices
- Demonstrate an understanding of industry and healthcare trends
- Follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion
- Report customer activity in the CRM system
- Seek advice and assistance to organize activities
- Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Drive your own development
- Clear demonstration of Effective Selling Skills in a Virtual Setting
Requirements
- Pharmaceutical/healthcare background or Bachelors degree in life sciences or bio medical
- Minimum one-year experience in sales or customer service
- Strong familiarity with computers and technology
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and nonverbal) and confident phone manner
- Ability to multitask, strong drive for results, operating within a team environment
