With us, you can do something significant that benefits society and human progress Your new role – challenging and future-orientedRepair & Service shop supervisor: The candidate should be responsible for creation of route cards based on agreed schedule and finalized scope chart, distribute the work among repair teams and send material to vendors and track the progress and ensure that work complete with right quality, within agreed cost and timeline Preparation of packing list during material dispatch ensuring all required / agreed material goes back to site . Coordinate with other departments if required. Supervise workshop activities and co-or ordinate with other departments like Engineering , Order management , SCM and quality control teams for smooth execution. Keep track of incoming material from customer , prepare damage report if any . Create Material masters , purchase requisitions, order booking sheet and purchase order for internal services like High Speed Balancing, inhouse machining, diaphragm assemblies, hydraulic assemblies , DR jobs etc. Update Order manager for daily progress . Create documents for material issue from stores to shop floor team. Co-ordinate in shop floor visits of customers & vendors Co-ordinate jobs at vendor place in order to execute repair jobs with right quality and within timeline Compile fact finding reports & final repair reports for customer submission by coordinating another department Compare scope of work mentioned in Customer PO with respect to enquiry and report deviations if any. Taking lead role in daily project review meeting and maintain updated record for the timely completion of the repair projects Support OM for providing schedule and cost inputs at enquiry stage for shop Create and keep record of planned v/s actual costs in terms of material & man/machine hours. Qualification: BE / B-Tech mechanical engineering from reputed institute. Minimum 7 year experience working in turbine repair shop Knowledge of turbine construction and its working will have added advantage. Knowledge of SAP at medium level is necessary.
