Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Reporting & Analysis Leader to join our team. This position is based at the Beachwood, OH office. Relocation assistance will be provided. Position Overview: This position is responsible for the reporting and analysis of monthly results, forecasts, and plans. The role reports to the Director of Global Reporting & Analysis. This individual must provide insightful business analyses to senior management to support the development of objectives and action plans to achieve those objectives. The position requires a high level of detailed analysis in a complex organization, and the ability to be highly responsive and accurate. This person will interact with a wide range of people across the organization and requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly. Essential functions include: Develop financial reporting commentary and reporting metrics Coordinate the tactical development of the profit plan, ensuring documentation is complete, required schedules are provided, and accuracy is validated. Develop monthly and quarterly Senior Leadership and Board of Director financial presentations Functionally oversee workload for GFSS Finance team and coordinate daily, monthly, and special projects Lead a team of financial professionals supporting both Sectors and Corporate Provide content and analysis for Board of Director presentations Create a high-performance talent pool to export to the businesses. Create a culture of intellectual rigor, performance, and leadership. Leverage understanding of root cause in financial variance to positively impact overall business performance Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in Accounting and/or Finance Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFM, CIA) Position Success Criteria: Ability to manage conflicting priorities. Proficient with financial reporting systems, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Self-Starter with the ability to drive results Must be a proactive communicator to all levels of management Strong interpersonal and leadership skill set that is effective at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to influence broad organization and the attainment of objectives Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and relationships in a global organization Effectively leverages functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives.
