Eaton’s Corporate Division is currently seeking a Reporting and Analysis Financial Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, Ohio location. Relocation assistance is available for this role. Position Overview: This primary function of the Reporting and Analysis Financial Specialist will be to provide support to the global corporate functions by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. It is responsible for partnering with the various corporate functions leadership teams to develop and coordinate profit plans, strategic plans, monthly forecast, allocations, goals, and objectives. This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Functional Reporting and Analysis with the Corporate Controller function. In this function you will: Serve as a liaison to corporate departments involved in accounting transactions. Provide insightful analysis to assist department managers with critical financial decision making. Lend accounting expertise and provide interpretation of accounting policies and forecasting/profit plan guidelines, along with assisting in month end close and supporting compliance processes as required. Reconcile financial results and identify key drivers of variances in the forecast to senior management. Support the profit planning process and provide guidance on due dates, reporting, analysis, etc. Support adhoc finance projects and develop fact-based recommendations to help senior leadership make informed business decisions. Manage the day-to-day activities; includes working with worldwide corporate admin centers to understand budgets and ensure consistent application of forecasting policies and procedures. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution 3+ years of accounting or finance experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: In depth knowledge of RADAR/ENCORE/DFT system (Longview software) Oracle/SAP experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Project Accounting and SQL/VBA a plus Position Criteria: Ability to observe, evaluate, summarize, and communicate highly complex issues and make decisions based on those observations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact effectively and influence employees at all levels within the organization.
