The Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project will be connecting residential areas with job hubs, running from St Mary’s to the new airport and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, including connecting travellers to the public transport system. Create a better tomorrow with us Reporting into the System Integration Engineering Manager, the Requirement Manager is responsible for the preparation, coordination and conclusion of the overall technical requirements of the project according to the relevant rules and guidelines as applied within the project organization. The responsibilities include but not limited to: Development and implementation of the overall requirements management plans and procedures Supervision of compliance with requirements management processes Clarification of requirements processes, responsibilities and structures for RM-tool DOORS in cooperation with subsystems involved Design of instructions/drafts for requirements documents Organization of a training for the RM-tool DOORS for subsystems involved Identification of all contractual requirements (system and process-related requirements) prior to introduction of requirements into DOORS Cooperation with and coordination of subsystems on responsibilities and other attributes of contractual requirements to insure continuous traceability Coordination with civil works contractor to ensure system civil interface coordination supervision and evaluation of contractual requirements traceability according to the V-model using DOORS in cooperation with subsystems Creation of verification documentation for in-house system acceptance Creation of reports for the project manager on the compliance status Planning of tasks deadlines Management of the assigned team What you need to make real what matters Extensive experience in railway transportation systems, ideally in the rail systems business, with the focus on interface management. Prior experience as Requirement Manager on large rail systems project. Knowledge of relevant IT-systems and tool (e.g., Excel, DOORS, MS-Office) Strong technical knowledge on all major subsystems of a railway turnkey project, e.g. Signalling, Railway Communication, Electrification, Power Supply, Rolling Stock, SCADA, Track Work etc. Degree in electrical engineering or systems engineering preferably with railway specific specialization Work experience as team member in international projects / experience in large Railway project executions Why you’ll love working for Siemens Mobility We live and foster an ownership culture in which every employee takes personal responsibility for our Company's success.
