To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E The Requirements Engineer will assist the EV Pursuit team to manage complex customer requirements and enquiries to drive the growth of the EV opportunity pipeline. The incumbent will manage the expectations if the customer in line with product performance and execute pursuit projects in time and in line with IATF requirements. The incumbent will also provide timely and accurate simulation data feedback to OEM and Tier 1 customers and work closely with Senior Desing Engineers and global plants to deliver product to customer expectations. Your main responsibilities: • Defining and responding to component level requirements within a compliance matrix • Creating engineering specifications and test procedures in accordance with customer requirements and compliance metrics. • Coordinating test activities with internal and external labs in support of the customer PPAP timelines and/or design changes where necessary. • Coordinating engineering information into respective cost models to support the business case for specific pursits, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated where viable. • Actively supporting the selection and definition of Special Characteristics for Automotive product development, when needed. • Delivering engineering documentation in line with IATF processes and requirements • Developing and coordinating the execution of EMEA engineering drawings and control plans where necessary, including other necessary documentation relating to product development • Supporting resolution of urgent quality issues including customer visits, if necessary • Proactively learning basic principles and concepts of Product Design (DFSS) and implement where applicable • Understanding COMSOL simulation results to support the Product Development team to deliver timely simulation responses to customers Qualifications Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering / systems engineering / physics. • 1 year in electrical industry. • SolidWorks, CFD Analysis, COMSOL/Ansys. • Working across multinational locations #LI-IS1 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
