TITLE: Requirements Engineer – System COMPANY: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. DUTIES: Participate in the elicitation and elaboration of features from the primary stake holders (clinical users, product management, service etc.). Develop and document the detailed requirements that describe these features. Lead requirement clarification sessions with the software engineering teams to ensure the requirements are well understood and will be implemented correctly. Work with the implementation team during the design, implementation and integration phases to ensure that the requirements are implemented and integrated correctly into the system. Identify, quantify, and drive the mitigation of technical risks to our projects and products. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with the following skills: strong healthcare industry environment knowledge and demonstrated experience; Scrum/Agile experience; experience in product requirement analysis and documentation; experience leading new product development efforts through the entire development life cycle; experience with product backlog management using MS Team Foundation Server; hands-on experience developing medical solutions that adhere to IHE profiles, DICOM, HIPAA and HL7 protocols; software development experience using SQL Database management; software development experience using .NET, VC++, Perl, Power Shell; experience in administration and management of Microfocus Caliber for Software requirements; experience in product implementation and solution management; experience with Configuration Management, Software packaging and deployments; experience with Product Risk Analysis per FDA class regulations; in-depth knowledge in development of high-availability and virtualization solutions for PACS medical imaging applications.
