We are looking forward to a Research Analyst - Aerospace in Eaton’s Sales and Marketing Center, based in Pune, India. Provide well-researched analysis and actionable intelligence to determine growth opportunities, market positioning, and strategic business issues. Lead/ co-lead analysis presentation calls to stakeholders to discuss research findings, conclusions and specifically presenting recommendations for business to take actions on. Independently handle the research request and queries by the stakeholders. Apply specific tactical information discovery, including answers to questions about specific costs, technology, and product info. Regularly support the Leadership team by providing clear picture of market trends and new technology for consideration in Product Road-mapping and ProLaunch activities. Gather and evaluate relevant market and competitor information to review market position, determine threats, benchmark competitor marketing activities and regularly advise of activities – acquisitions, marketing efforts, press releases, etc. Partner and support the business leaders in their decision-making process by providing well-researched analysis and actionable intelligence that would address the key business challenges. Conduct studies to determine sales trends, market share, and operating profit with the intention to identify opportunities to grow sales, strengthen market share, and increase profitability. Comfortable in discussions with Sr. executives in answering questions as well as counter-questioning them. Support in Strategic Plan and Profit plan with market insights, TAM Estimation, End Market Growth Forecast, Product Market Competitor Metrics, market size by segment, region, and other market and business analysis requirements). This exciting role provides opportunity to: Understand the functionality of products where Eaton has its business focus. Understand business challenges and explore opportunities to present actionable analysis. Develop information research and analysis methodology by partnering with business to validate the secondary research findings and scrutinizing them with company’s business/ market/ product/ technology leaders. Employ logic and tools in reporting to provide predictive analysis, track technological developments which may impact the business and provide inputs for strategic plans. Develop market analysis to illustrate market size/share/growth globally and by region for key markets. Conduct studies to determine sales trends, market share, and operating profit with the intention to identify opportunities to grow sales, strengthen market share, and increase profitability. Apply specific tactical information discovery, including answers to questions about specific costs, technology, and product information. Create white papers, press releases and other documents requiring technical writing in collaboration with the divisional subject matter experts. Qualifications Preferred Technical Degree/ Diploma with experience in Market Research and Consulting. Well-read on a wide variety of subjects and should have the ability to interpret global macro-economic factors which impact economics, politics and business environment in general. Experience with market trends, customer expectations and economic analysis as provided by internal and external data sources. Able to articulate insights in a concise way, both written and verbal. Ability to translate complex reports and analyses into simple ‘business speak’ and present results to internal customers up to the SLT level. Ability to connect the dots and generate insights, prioritize business questions and recommendations. Ability to develop relationships and communicate cross-functionally. Independent and personally driven. Resourceful Detail oriented Able to adjust to change. Must be able to problem solve and make decisions.
