Job Description
Position Summary
The appointee will support the Project Manager in “Language Interaction in Augmented Educational Space (LIVES)”. The appointee will be responsible for:
- Conducting literature review
- Developing evaluation tools for project evaluation
- Collecting and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data for project evaluation
- Assisting in report writing and administration duties relate to the project
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or his/her delegates
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics, Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Experience in developing assessment and evaluation in the field of education
- Exceptional writing skills in English
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese
- Experience working with non-Chinese speaking students in post-secondary institutions
- Ability to use specialized research software to conduct quantitative and/or qualitative analyses, e.g. NVivo, SPSS, Mplus, R.
Salary and Fringe Benefits:
- Fixed terms with a maximum of two years of contract with fringe benefits including leave, MPF and group medical insurance to eligible appointee.
- Remuneration is competitive and will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
