Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator for Research Project “On effective utilization of small training sample for computer short answer grading based on semi-supervised clustering algorithms” (R&D Project R6331). The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- developing computer programs and preparing data;
- designing, implementing, and evaluating computer algorithms for the research project; and
- studying the literature and to work with the project investigators to prepare report writing.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a higher degree, in Computing or a related discipline;
- good communication and interpersonal skills; and
- preference will be given to those applicants with good programming skills, relevant technical experiences and a track record of research and publication.
Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary and end-of-contract gratuity will be provided to the right candidate. Fringe benefits such as annual leave, staff development leave, staff learning and development sponsorship and medical & dental benefits will also be provided.
